You read the big book over and over and over. It’s just so simple. You follow the steps and don’t drink. Just for today I’m not drunk. Tomorrow I’m not sure. But if I do the same thing I did yesterday. Chances are I’m not going to be drunk. It’s been a long and hard journey with addiction. Lost everything twice. My kids hate me. But one day at a time the Tornado stops spinning so fast. The sun might come out for a minute. Although it always seems to rain on me. Point is just don’t drink.
