Why is it so hard to find a sponsor
It shouldn't be. Go to a meeting and say you need one, you'll probably get mobbed.
If you're trying to get one in this app, I wouldn't recommend that. It's not really what the app is for. You need a sponsor you can meet up with.
Barring that, find a good online meeting, find a sponsor there, and make it your home group
sometimes we feel like we have to connect with them on a personal level, but at the end of the day they’re just there to help us get through the steps. Especially if you’re new, it’s more important to just get one (even if they’re temporary) so you can start the work. Down the line, you have every right to change sponsors. I did several times.
