I was thinking when my addiction was out of control i lost everything a place to stay friends myself responsible for my life so thankful rehabilitation programs.i have new sober clean friends an apartment

I lost basically everything too, including my health and my will to live. The idea of going on was exhausting. Getting sober is the best decision I've ever made.
It's not all sunshine and roses! But life is pretty good now, and it's much better than when I was drinking. And I'm still in early recovery, life still gets better every day.
