What's your favorite recovery saying?
Meeting makers make it. I have almost 30 years. What's yours?
Oh man I love the cliches!
Right now, for me, I like “do the next right thing”. Obviously I'm far from perfect about doing that, but when I try to just work a good program and not force my will or my expectations onto the results, good things happen.
I also love the four agreements. 99% of my problems can be resolved by running them through the agreements
Take 1 moment at a time because it applies to all areas in our lives.
Don't count the days, make the days count! Someone said it on here and it made me realize I needed to stop checking my app counter and actually soak in everyday sober. Only 8 days sober but I am loving every bit of sobriety! Yesterday was hard for a moment but i wiped my tears and realized why I'm doing this.
Its not a character defect, its a disease.
One little step at a time and have faith
I couldn't think of one off the top of my head but found this and love it:
“Insanity is not doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results; insanity is doing the same thing over and over again knowing full well what the results will be.”
That's thought provoking, Melissa.
“I just got new tires.”
“Let go and let God” and “This too shall pass”
Rule 62 “don’t take life to seriously”
I like those Melissa.
