What are some good groups for live boards and conferences with other wonderful sober folks at night? Basically an alternative to 'going out'.
AA? Anything else?
Look at substance abuse treatment centers, as well as mental health organizations. They are often looking for volunteers to do anything from mentoring adiicts/alcoholics in treatment, sitting on boards, running an IOP meeting or chairing an AA meeting, etc…
