Thursday was 180 days for me but my app said Friday was six months so I got two days to celebrate. Instead I got to use all the skills I learned in the last six months to not lose my shit when I caught my thirteen year old daughter and her friends smoking dope in my house on my six months sober day. I do have this to be thankful for: through it all I have never once felt that alcohol would make it better and that's probably the only reason I'm now six months and three days sober.

Grounded AF. Mom is trying to get her locked up in a residential program so another round of that fight is looming on the horizon. I think daughter will be fine in the long run but man does she know how to screw up epically. Guess she gets it from me...
