There is no substitute for sobriety. You cannot substitute substances because you think they're healthier or safe. It's the path that you've been walking that you have to get off of. You cannot walk the same path that you have been traveling, expecting different results. When you "stand at the turning point", or the fork in the road. You got to choose a different path. Or remake a new one. Because you've been down that other road and you know where it leads no matter much you change "how you are walking."
