The brain can’t comprehend negative thoughts. Don’t keep reminding yourself

The brain can’t comprehend negative thoughts. Don’t keep reminding yourself you cant drink , you can’t go here, you can’t go there. Focus on what you CAN do…today I’m going to see a friend, step up in my job, exercise, talk to a family member. It’s not about can not - it’s about what you can do in sobriety!
