I’m really struggling. How do I stay sober?
I have the same question. I just don’t know. I want to be.
Have you tried going to meetings or anything? What specifically is wrong Today?
I’m just so lonely and depressed. Life is pretty terrible- I feel isolated and all I wanna do is drink. It’s not fun
I’m sorry you’re feeling that way- have you tried to take a walk or do you like nature? Have you been attending any meetings?
I hope your day was better today. Stick with it, it does get better, much better those feelings will pass with time. You will find your happy!
My hate for cops has destroyed me
Pray then keep telling yourself you don't need that poison in your body. Ill pray for you aswell.
Me to this is my first day sober I’m so use to getting up n drinking. But I gotta quit or I’m gonna die from this I’m depressed bad
Sara reach out and find some connections. Get some advice on getting sober and staying sober. There are many on here just like you, anyone would be glad to help you
Hey Sara, glad you’re here- have you considered going to treatment or any meetings near you to help build a Support network near you? I couldn’t do it by myself
What I do is whenever I want a drink is that I think about how horrible was to get sober again
Stay strong, drinking is just a way for us to hide out of reality
Thanks everyone!
u’ll be find ,remember having a drink is like putting a bansages over a bullet hole
Learn to love again. You don't have to hate. Figure out how you can serve your local police station. Maybe order them pizza one day.
Hi, Sara. Congrats on Day 1. I'm so very proud of you.
I hate you're depressed. Do you know what's causing your depression? If so, tackle it.
Make sure you get enough sleep at night, eat mood boosting foods, and take care of yourself. I challenge you to practice self-care at least 3 times a day.
I'm so glad you are here.
Get to a meeting. Don't be shy- introduce yourself to a few people. Host a Zoom meeting with your family.
Jackie84462 try to get to a meeting today if you can or call someone anyone, go for a walk anything to break that thinking process. We are all on the same journey of recovery and it is even harder in these challenging times. You can do this we all have faith in you.
Congratulations you are taking the correct steps. One day at the time
