Starting sucks. I know I need to get control for my health family and career. Struggling with never.

A sober network is critical . AA or celebrate recovery etc . I went to so many meetings in my first few months . Did I fully buy into the program ... no , but it gave me a sober community to be a part of and a lot of good advice . Attempting it alone is pretty much impossible .

I agree with Stephen. I have 3 years and I never fully bought into aa but it a least gave me a solid foundation to build on.

Sober network is key as everyone else has said. Think about what you'll gain by getting and staying sober.

Take it one day at a time. You can do it. This is a great place for sober support. Reach out if you need to vent.
