So today was interesting I had the pleasure of seeing videos of myself while in active addiction. Not gonna lie it was kind of hard to watch at first but I came to the realization that doesn't have to be me anymore. It’s not me anymore. Now these videos while they Are being used against me in a pending divorce from my wife, I won’t let the negative aspect of them affect my recovery. If anything they remind me of how far I’ve come this early in my sobriety and what I don’t want to go back to. 81 days and counting. Sobriety might not save my marriage but at least it is saving me.

That's the attitude, Zachary! Many couldn't have a positive outlook if in your shoes. I'm glad you are. Look at you now! Your present and future defines you. Your past is irrelevant.
