Been struggling with getting off suboxone. I know some people consider it “sober” but its ruined so much. I lost the love of my life from addiction. I hope to meet people who can relate. Therapy only helps to a certain point.

Been there, thats tough. I had a hard time getting off of it too. I also lost a relationship due to addiction. Getting sober is the best thing I've done in a long time. Your not alone! You got this!

Suboxone is impossible to get off of, from my experience. I hate when I don't have enough; there's never enough lol
Get into the book, talk to your sponsor and give it up to your HP. stay humble and you will make it all it takes is WILLINGNESS. love and light through this journey.

I know the feeling. Currently detoxing off Methadone - went from 70mg to 50mg and it’s hard, but can be done. Don’t wanna be on that stuff for too long, but of course doctors don’t tell you that. Try and work a slow taper, little by little - you can do it

Hey Matthew, glad you’re here - like Daniel said- doing a slow taper is probably your best bet. I do know a couple people who are “sober“ and just take suboxone that go to AA but without it tbh would probably be dead. There’s a lot of controversy around it. I think its a means to an end. if you’re shooting dope you’ll probably die, so I’d much rather anyone be alive and on subs. my only concern is that it’s hard to experience a lot of clarity and freedom when tied to a medication like suboxone or methodone, but both are extremly hard to get off so I applaud you both for trying. i didn’t take either as I didn’t have insurance and couldn’t afford it but I was able to get off heroin by going to treatment and then consistently working the steps of AA. if its keeping you off heroin/opiates, don’t beat yourself up too much, it’s a huge accomplishment
