Relapse

I have been struggling substance Use disorder for most of my adult life. For the last 5 years it’s been methemphetime. I do it on and off. Last year I stayed sober of meth for 6 months and thought my battle was over. I had been clean for a couple of months but relapsed two nights ago. I am digesting this today. Finally sober. I do not want to do this again. I have so many things in my life that depend on my sobriety and so many people that I love and xherish counting on me.

Don't let the relapse define you but rather be the motivation to know that using is not what you want for yourself. From experience active addiction is a horrible way of life and I'm so happy to be sober! Your life is worth it so keep fighting for it!!

The relapse is over. Today is a new day. You have a brighter future. Kudos to keeping you and your loved ones first.

A relapse is not the end, but a new step to start on. You can pick up the pieces and begin again
