We are probably even worse sober, just sayin. Lol. Pretty sure our brains are just starving for euphoria, And sex is the sober way of getting that. Not saying the only way. Fitness does it as well, but they obviously don't compare.

Believe me, I am much much older than you and women do not make love the same way, people are NOT the same and you can ( and should ) chose your mates carefully deliberately and to MUTUAL benefit.
I do not have children but teach and mentor medical students. And they not infrequently show these sign of dismay despondency and depression.
Younger people are amazed about how tough real life can be after adolescence high school (or college). Sex and romance are among the first difficulties but other follow. It can be perfectly handled though: just like a bicycle AFTER you practice a bit riding it.
