New here. I am almost at a year of sobriety, pretty much did it alone. I never liked AA and have had some uncomfortable experiences. I’m trying to move through this because people have had great success with 12 steps. Thoughts?

:+1: Hey you gotta do whats in your best interest, not anyone else. I like AA but I do not agree with all of it. Thats my take

Hey, Maria. Congrats on near a year. That's awesome. If AA isn't your thing, look into SMART Recovery.

Yeah, thanks. it’s been the only sober path for so long. Happy that there are resources out there now..
