My name is John and I am a truly grateful alcoholic! Although alcohol stunted my emotional growth, got me landed in jail a few times and literally almost killed me... it's saved my life by leading me to AA and the 12 steps of recovery. I am sober 11 months, feel like I'm living in a dream world, and working on my character defects. Without AA and the fellowship I would be a lost soul and miserable.
