My husband struggles with opioid addiction! He just got home from a 30 day intense recovery program! Does any other spouse struggle with the recovery process!? Feeling left behind while he recovers! I feel like all eyes are on him yet I am the one that feels left behind to pick up all the pieces that were broken in trust and lies! I want to be supportive but some days I struggle so much .... any advice?
You should go to a alanon meeting, it's for people who have loved ones that are addicts or alcoholics! It should help you deal with your feeling on the situation! Just a suggestion!

This is what my wife did after my last relapse and now after 15 years and to kids she wants a divorce. So in al non you will learn who you really are as a person who has been dealing with co dependency. Good luck
