Lost seeking help

Hey I’ve gone through a lot like divorce. Cheating. and anxiety. Unfortunately I dove into binge drinking and I seriously hate it. I started a new workout program that has helped with the anxiety but I still can’t kick drinking. Advice?

Sorry your anxiety is so high, I’m glad you’re working out that definitely helps. Maybe talk to a therapist too that helps my anxiety. Also picking something distracting to do instead to supplement your urges could help. Have you ever tried Guided meditations? They help too! It Also helps to have some sober friends which I’ve made in 12 step groups and on here. Glad you're reaching out!

It might seem unrelated, but try probiotics. Gut bacteria drive cravings, lots of studies available online if you want to look into it deeper.

Have you thought about a meeting? If you can't go in-person there are some good ones online. Get a sponsor. Don't worry about tomorrow- take it 1 day at a time.
