I'm getting all emo tonight. I really want things to work out with my wife. I just don't think they will. I'm 40 years old. I'm past my prime. I don't know where to look for friendship, love, or any sort of companionship. I just feel very lost right now.

Thanks man. We had all that until she cheated.

If you want it to work you need counseling. If she won't go go by yourself. At least then if it doesn't, you kno you did all you could.

We are in couples therapy and individual therapy. It does help somewhat.

Yeah, I feel ya on that one. I don't drink anymore but my wife does.

Mark, I'm a single 42 year old and look at what my friends have and what I have. I find for myself, being around sober people and working things for myself keeps me in sobriety and happy. I hope you are able to find your happiness while keeping your sobriety :blush:

I know what you mean Mark. Just had another tough session with my wife. I've been very glass half empty about the situation. Its tough, but I'm taking it one day at a time. We can do this.
