I would like to start a group where people can get togther on holidays birthdays all days that us in recovery want to have that family community structure that we seem to be missing at times. Please dm request me so.its something we can build as a group

I need a group bc I have tried to hit 2 separate meetings tonight and neither are open. So now I am sitting alone, in my head, craving a drink more than ever while my family celebrate the holiday and my sons birthday without me because I was not invited.

I hope you are ok as some time has passed now.
Craving will happen, just let it pass. Pray, take a walk, recognize & learn your triggers. That helped me, and I hope this helps you.
