I work inn a convenience store that sells alcohol. I recently had a terrible experience stocking beer and such. Now I'm 2.5 years sober and stocking it had me really upset due to the trigger of seeing it. I'm just thankful that I have coworkers that understand I'm in recovery and tell me to avoid stocking it.
I felt the same way working at a gas station that sold it. They usually wouldnt have me stock it, and id always avoid it and even looking at it. I was also barley a few months into sobriety so id even just seeing that section in general. Its rough. Im glad you have such understanding coworkers.
Yea I just can't deal with stocking it. Ringing customers out who buy it doesn't even phase me in the least
