I usually try to help people out with my words and prayers. But I am having a real bad day! I am going through a custody battle that was supposed to be smooth but is all of a sudden getting ugly! I’ve thought about drinking all afternoon. I even sat in the parking lot of a liquor store. But decided to go to a meeting instead. My higher power kept me from getting out of my car! I hope and pray tomorrow is better.

I hear custody battles eventually do/can turn quite ugly, and it’s never an easy situation to begin even if it is supposed to go smoothly. Good job and sitting and thinking before going inside. I’m similar to you, but it’s also part of my job. I’m able to successfully help others but never not so much myself.

Good Job Ryan!! I’ve been there. I’ve been through the ringer on that one. I didn’t cave in snd it all worked out better than I could have hoped.
