I suffer from severe boredom. Especially when I’m not working. Usually I would start drinking around Noon, and would stop around 8:00 P.M. I want to get out and do stuff, it’s just hard for me when the weather sucks. I started working out and eating healthy, recording my food intake. I need other hobbies, but hate doing things alone. I have a bit of a codependency issue as well...
You need to find something to do besides nothing. Think about something you are interested in. And do it. There is always service work and volunteering. You can't outrun your addiction. But doing something for others will make you feel better. At any case, find SOMETHING to do.
