I stopped drinking 14 years ago. I used to go to AA but stopped several years ago and I never really went through the steps. I started going to AA again recently because I don’t like the way I’ve been thinking lately (jealous, depressed, angry, resentful). I thought maybe this time I would go through the steps and see if it helps me.

I learned that my drinking was a symptom of something greater by working the steps.

Definitely consider trying AA again, also might consider a therapist. Having someone to talk to helps a lot.

Yeah that’s what I’ve heard other people say and I don’t quite understand it but I’d like to learn what it means
Yeah I’m seeing a therapist once a week but sometimes it’s not enough
