I saw this tree today on my hike today. At some point in this tree’s life it was knocked down. But that didn’t stop this tree, it continued to flourish, thrive and grow. I believe this tree represents all of us in recovery. I declare this tree as the recovery tree.
We all have been knocked down during our addiction, and like the recovery tree, we can still grow into something with purpose.
