I have been good with not drinking then slowly think I can handle it then drink too much

I agree 100%. That's a solid solution for you and your family. You can't do this alone. Have you been attending meetings?

No I haven't. I can go without it. But once I have a drop, it's bad.

Prayers,prayers, and more prayers. Ask God to remove that desire first. Then get medical attention.

Have you tried a recovery program? Just white knuckling it only works until your strength fades. A program puts you in contact with people who will lend you some of their strength.

The best thing to be honest with yourselves and your family snd then figure out where you go from here. If your not honest. They will never start trusting you.
