Found out yesterday I have fatty liver disease.
I’m done. As of January 13th, I pledge sobriety to myself and family.

I was a little worried when you started with I'm done. I'm glad to know it's not something bad. Thank goodness you're done with alcohol. Take care of your body. I believe you'll be better in no time.

Glad to here. It's tough to come to that decision, but it sounds like you are serious about it, and that's a good thing. Abstaining from alcohol has a great effect on your liver. I just read an article about research where they were actually surprised to find out how much it improved on average after 30 days. Read some articles on the health benefits of quitting alcohol. That helped keep me going in the beginning.
