Me too!
I cant say that I LOVE being sober, but I do prefer it over being drunk or all messed up on drugs. It's a life style change that is most definitely for the better, but I have my moments where the thought of a drink comes up and I think, “why not just 1 or 2 beers to take the edge off?” Then I immediately have to remind myself that I'm an alcoholic and the minute alcohol were to touch my lips, all bets are off. So I definitely do like and prefer sobriety over intoxication, but I cant say I love it.. at least not yet. I'm still getting used to it.
