I heard this the other day from my redemption recovery people!! If you always remain un affendable you will always be able to forgive and that is huge!! You see!?
The catch with offense is we have to first believe something that isn’t true. For instance for a friend to offend me, I must think that they 1 are a friend, 2 that we think exactly alike, and 3 that what they think and say has a real bearing on my well being. We learn to forgive, because offense is really just our misunderstanding of their nature.
