I can't walk, through intense physical therapy I'm expected to be recovered in about a year. Saying that, the journey starts now I learn how to shuffle along with a walker. I was on bed rest for a week and I got off today. I took my walker out for a spin. As we went step by step, I noticed that they a bunch of empty room. It just so happens ALL the rooms with a good view were empty. My nurse let me go and sit down to soak in a different part of the town. I've been in this room so long, tomorrow will be five weeks. It's the little things that can change someone's day, week, or life. I'm so thankful.
By the way, I made it 450 ft.!! They followed me will rolling chairs and I'll admit I had to take breaks, BUT I MADE. That's the farthest I've gone. It's going to be a LONG road but I can do.!
