I am not the center of the universe. My priorities are mine. Expecting others to subscribe to them is arrogant and controlling. Furthermore, when others live according to their priorities it is no because they want to hurt me and is not in any way an excuse to use.
Lastly, even if I think other peoples boundaries are silly or misplaced, it is not my place to judge and I absolutely must adhere to them.
