I am an alcoholic and drug addict. I have been clean from drugs for 5 years, but still drinking and have beat a lot of addictions, but can't seem to stop drinking. I know I can. I feel it's so accessable that it's hard. And I'm scared. I don't know anything else but I am ready.
Alcohol is the only addiction you have to explain WHY you quit or don’t drink. It’s difficult for so many reasons. It’s basically thrown in our face anywhere you go to socialize, every show you watch, nearly every store you go to. It’s a tough mental challenge because you have to live alongside it. You CAN do it. Even if you’re only sober for one day and you relapse, learn from it and move forward. Fail, fail again, fail better.
