I got mine through zoom, there’s a 24 hour meeting through the AA Homegroup website, if you ask on there people will likely offer to sponsor you. Or if you go to an in person meeting when they ask newcomers to say how many days they have you can say you need a sponsor then

Ask anyone to be a temporary sponsor just for today and then grow from there.

Charles: I friended you. When you reply I'll send you a link to an NA meeting with hundreds of recovering addicts. It meets daily on Zoom at 10am.

Ask someone “will you be my sponsor?”

A first sponsor doesn’t need to be a perfect fit.
