Hey guys just a question here. I am 3 days sober. Been drinking daily for as long as I can remember. My question is did any of you suffer any side effects like seizures once the booze left your system? When I told my sister who is an RN I was quitting cold turkey she raised this concern. Yes you can go into withdrawals when you quit drinking, sometimes it can require medical intervention. But if you're already 3 days sober, you'll probably be ok. I had some slight shaking of my hands but that's it and my brain was in a fog. Congrats on getting sober but do call your doctor if you start having bad withdrawals

I had what definitely seemed like seizures before. And it is known to happen with withdrawal please talk to your dr. Just to be safe if you feel you experienced/ are experiencing this.
