I mean, I can’t seem to stay sober for more than two weeks. I’m not as bad as I’ve been in the past, or am I?
Good morning, its not easy but so worth it. Are you able to find meetings? There are some in person and many online. For me, I had to start working a program with a sponsor. I tried many times to do it on my own and could only last a couple of days. When I finally gave in and started putting my effort into working the steps, I was able to move forward and stay sober. The program is simple but not easy. I put in just a portion of the effort for recovery as I did to use. One minute, one hour, one day at a time. When your ready to be sober, give it all you have, 100% effort to work this, and it will work for you. Hope your doing OK today!
