Today, we honor a man who helped change the course of America for the better! He was an influential civil rights leader who dreamed we would not be judged by the color of our skin but the content of our character. He risked his life so we could experience unity.

How has Dr. King's mission shaped your life?

He has shaped my life in many ways. One in particular I am grateful for is the ability to marry my husband. There was a time our marriage was against the law. If it weren't for the work of Dr. King we wouldn't be married today.
