To thy on self be true. If you think telling your sponsor is going to help you more than you telling him. So I suggest that you tell him anyway. It’s only way you get honest with yourself
If you don’t tell him it’s like your having a back up plan of not fully trying - what he don’t know won’t hurt him mentality but I’m reality hurting yourself. I used to do this but always failed after hiding for awhile and acting like I was being straight
