I am rather enjoying sobriety. The new lease on life is very exciting. I have always been rather rebellious as I’m sure y’all can relate to. This has existed with my sponsor as well, nonetheless he has had the patience and understanding I need. As well as calling me out on my BS. I have finally surrendered to the fact that me running the show is not the best idea no matter how hard I try. And that’s the thing, there is no try. Just do what your sponsor says. If you don’t like it that’s your disease fighting against what’s best for you. We don’t grow in comfort. Well, that be said “let go & let god.” “Let go and listen to your F’n sponsor”
It’s rather nice to enjoy the show instead of trying to run it.
