Got blackout drunk last night and my wife has had enough so I might have to find a place to stay
Oh goodness. I will keep you in my prayers in hopes you don't have to stay somewhere else.
Just feeling bad about myself for getting so drunk last night, letting my my down, just disappointed in myself
Beating yourself up isn't gonna help so you can stop doing that. You don't need to be tight with God to say a prayer, just say out loud “please take this away”. That's literally all I did and stayed sober for the 3 weeks it took to get into treatment. Find a meeting, even an online one, open up and get a Big Book to read until this pandemic shit goes away. But definitely stop beating yourself up.
