1 day at a time. Keep of stupid simple, especially in the beginning. Wake up, pray, reach out to a sponsor or sober support, go to a meeting, and don’t drink/use. As long as you don’t drink/use you have a chance
Hello Olivia! When I decided to become sober, I decided to go right to an AA meeting. I met some awesome women there, 1 who became my sponsor right away. I have an AA Meeting Guide that I downloaded to my phone. This gives me a list of in-person, hybrid and Zoom meetings in my area. You can also go to the AA link below. Before, and/or after, find a woman you feel comfortable with to talk.
