For me, it was learning to be completely honest. And to live the 12 steps, not just work one and go on to the next.

Boredom is the hardest

Hardest part for me is working with my drinking buddies. They are supportive as they can remember to be but they still occasionally offer me a beer or ask if I want to go to the bar. I’ve even had homeowners offer us a cold one on the job. I work with my family so even on holidays my drinking buddies are there. I’ve kinda become the family D.D.
