So I work at a detox and just got home from a long shift. We had our Alumni Meeting tonight so I had a chance to see a lot of clients doing great! However it's always hard to ignore those who have gone back out that are missing. Sometimes you truly do have to step over those who need it to help those who want it and work for it...

It is hard sometimes but remember by passing up the unwilling and helping those who want it you may eventually reach those who are not yet ready for change. Thank you for caring and not giving up.

I'm thinking about getting into recovery as a profession but I worry that I'm not strong enough to deal with clients going back out. Can you share a little bit about your experience?
