Day 4 almost done, still feeling like shit and wanting to drink but I’m hoping this to shall pass
Jeff, great job making it through the day. You are not alone; the beginning of sobriety is rough for everyone. Keep strong and you will feel the freedom from alcohol.

It will pass.
Eat junk food to help with your bodies sugar craving. Drink lots of fluids especially tea, water, and Gatorade/powerade. These things will help improve the shitty feelings slightly.

Days 3 and 4 were the worst for me. It’ll get better!! I’m on about day 215 after drinking for 25 years non-stop except when in the hospital or jail… if I can do it surely you can too.
