Day 3 and staying at my parents house for a few days. The worst when I don’t really have a place to escape and no car bc of my DUI. I know I need to be grateful. This is just really hard with parents that don’t understand and refuse to go to Alanon
Why do you need to escape? Why do they refuse to go to Alanon?
Because I have no privacy and they have no boundaries. I don’t know why they won’t go. They don’t understand but don’t seem willing to try to understand
You have to find a way to cope with this we can not control other people
Have you tried to talk with them about how you feel and what you would like them to do
