Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

We can't make people see our heart or know who we really are. We have to know who we are, and do our best to stay sober. If no one sees you, I do, I feel the struggle, the self doubt, the pain, the lose, all the time that you have been judged, the struggle to get out of bed... I feel you :orange_heart::yellow_heart::heart_eyes::smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Very powerful words and I totally agree. After almost 9 years sober people have no idea who I am or just look through me expecting me to be that same old drunk the struggle is real.

You too girl

We all have something about us that holds beauty to others.... some of us work hard to hide that fact, but it sneaks out occasionally.

Yes everyone is a work of art and we all bring different things to the table. My son said,"mom I don't see people with my eyes I see them with my heart."

Hi

To see things through the innocent eyes of children, a real gift.

Definitely something I needed to hear today thanks

I wish that came in a bottle
