As a sober person I can say that sobriety is worth it and all of the urgent feelings and thoughts do pass. Sobriety becomes natural and easy after some time has passed and when I took imperfect actions a day at a time. I hope whoever is struggling today can be gentle with yourself, know that this feeling will pass and clarity and a shift in perception will transform your life. I feel like not being sober was lifetimes ago.

I heard a motivational speaker compare it to a familiar tune. “Row row row your boat gently down the stream, merrily merrily merrily life is but a dream”.
