Hey Danielle. I am in Long Beach and recently sober as well. I plan to start hitting some meetings next week. I don’t have any sober friends myself, and I’d be down to meet up and talk, (next week going to SD this weekend) and maybe if you’re interested go to a meeting together as newbies.
