Anyone here have experience and tips for Benzo withdrawal?
Someone reached out to me but i always got medically tapered off em so I don’t have much advice.

Yes. Medical withdrawal. Otherwise you can die. Def detox for alcohol and benzos.

Go to the hospital NOW. I had benzo withdrawals and I ended up having a seizure. Luckily, I was not alone. I hit my head, it was bleeding and the paramedics didn’t notice I was bleeding so they didn’t force me to go to the ER. The next day, I noticed the blood and went to the ER. I needed stitches. After my head healed up, my hair started falling out in clumps. It took a year to grow back in.

Thanks for the responses everyone… I wish a medical detox was an option for this person but at the moment it may not be.
As far as I can tell the amount they were taking regularly wasn’t super high but they were curious about what the longer lasting withdrawal symptoms feel will be like.
I agree 100%, I just wish it was an option for everybody.

I’ve seen folks detox at home. Give pills to responsible person, and taper down 1-2 pills each day. It’s not fun any way you go. Keep hydrated is important.

Sad truth is if it isn’t an option, it could be deadly. Make sure to at least get someone to help invade things go south.
