Anyone felling a little tense the holidays are coming up ?

Definitely a hard time of year. My first few Christmas’s were super scary and difficult but I went to a meeting on the holiday & scheduled extra therapy sessions & made sure to spend time with my friends in recovery. I don’t talk much to my family so it can be super lonely .. I learned to recreate traditions for myself. Are there any sober friends you know you could spend the holiday with?
Well my family pretty much sober , it’s just hard cause not only I’m finally steeping down and trying to start a sober life for the first time in my life but I’m also going thru a break up so my emotions everywhere , when your sad or Atleast for me drinking was always the answer now I’m finding myself getting comfort from my family and whatever few friends I have that don’t drink.
