Just trying to be patient with myself. Don't even know who I am anymore.
Who you were before sobriety is definitely a stranger to the new you, spend some time getting to know who you are without substance abuse. You may find the same person with fewer problems, or a whole new person hiding behind the past.
So glad you’ve reached out! something helpful might be journaling, getting all your thoughts out on paper & looking at them. Reading books and blogs and things on the internet helps me, watching ted talks and motivational videos on YouTube. Getting into spirituality and creativity helps. Also if you’re down for therapy that might help too.

They can lead you through the gates of despair and anxiety.
